Sunday, February 19, 2017 
We walked to Punda to have a final meal, but the restaurant we had hoped to eat at was closed. We tried 2 others in search of a crab wrap, but no luck. Also tried to get money out of the ATM but for some reason, could not. We did take a photo of the statue of the birds in one of the squares in Punda.

Saturday, February 18, 2017 
We took the bus to Kenchi's Bigeye Scad's temporary location for fish. The meal was huge. We had 2 large pieces of Mahi-mahi, large avocado, lettuce, tomato salad, plantain, fried palenta, and Stan had fries for $15. We were offered the choice of white rice instead of fries. I ended up taking half of mine home. We took a small van back to Punda, since the bus was forever in coming to our stop.

Friday, February 17, 2017 
Stayed at the apartment all day.

Thursday, February 16, 2017 
We walked to the Jump In activities at 7:30 PM. A few stands were in the street to purchase crafts and food. Fireworks were at 8:15 in the park. Nothing spectacular. 

On our walk back, we had a cone at Dutch Treat for $2 each. 
I also got a night view of Queen Emma Bridge and Handelskade.

Wednesday, February 15, 2017 
We went to Punda to check out fees for debit card use at a bank. We walked around Rif Fort and looked at the shops.

Then we had pizza at Saprano Piano Bar inside Rif Fort. The special was pepperoni pizza for $10.  

Tuesday, February 14, 2017 
We took the bus to Mambo Beach to go to Aloha Beach Restaurant. We had the Mahi - mahi burger for $5. Good for lunch and dinner!

Monday, February 13, 2017 
We stayed put today working on renting a car in Bonaire for 3 weeks. $850 seems like a lot! They don't have public bus transportation.
