Happy birthday to Steve! We took the bus to Mambo beach and enjoyed the morning snorkeling. We walked to Kenchi's, Big Eye Scad and they were putting a new roof on the building, so were not serving lunch. There was a man with his 2 children and they were hoping to eat there too, and were told, in their language, that the owners were down the street serving food. They offered us a ride to that location and we went. However, the restaurant would not begin serving until tomorrow! Hopefully we will return next week. We did eat at another place called Mangrove Fish House. It was just a place where locals come for meals, but they served us barracuda, rice, plantain, and lettuce. $17.50 was a little higher than what we had been paying for similar meals.
