Today we returned the car to Ace Rental (Adolph's home) and he took us to the airport where we got the Insel plane to Curacao. Curacao is about 40 miles north of Venezuela. It is known to be a dry, flat island. It is the largest of the Dutch Caribbean Islands group extending about 40 miles from southeast to northwest. It is about 10 miles wide at its widest point. The capital is Willemstad.
We left early and arrived early. Eric met us and took us to the apartment that will be home for us for 29 nights.

We walked to a nearby market and got bread, milk, and ham. Returned for ham and cheese sandwiches. Unpacked and settled in.
